Fun fact: Patrick was once interviewed for the position of US Assistant Secretary of the Interior, Bureau of Indian Affairs, until it was learned that Patrick is of Irish ancestry, not Native American. As a consolation prize, he was offered the position of Counsel at the National Endowment for the Humanities, which he respectfully declined. No hard feelings!
